Kamut is an ancient grain that is much easier to digest than conventional wheat and a great source of protein, calcium, iron, and minerals than regular wheat.
Kamut kernels can be cooked pilaf-style, like wild rice, bulgur, or couscous. Cooked kamut kernels also make a delicious addition to salads or soups.

How to cook: Presoak 1 cup Kamut in 4 cups water overnight. Drain and Rinse. Add 3 cups of water to kamut grains in a deep boil pot. Bring to a boil then lower the heat to medium and simmer partially covered for 40-50 minutes until the grains are tender. Check occasionally and add water as required.
